took a gander over at notcot.com today discovered these supah adorable turtle toys called ‘MA ME PA.’

they remind me of this old buzzy bee toy we had growing up, which was actually [my niece] jessie’s, but i always wanted to play with : P

i love how these were lacquered and then cut into. really nice details. and bright colors! while also showing the natural wood grain : D

these have inspired my to get on the ball with my own ‘toy’ project which was initially put on hold by my brief excursion overseas : )
